Industrial sewing operator — Columbia County

Now hiring: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy garment factory. The role involves set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift. What we are looking for: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
