We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Columbia County, Oregon. The role involves cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents. What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Full-time, day shift. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
