Fabricator-welder wanted in Clark County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Clark County, Missouri. You should have: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints 1+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
