Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in San Juan County, Utah. Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience.
