Concrete placer — South Lanarkshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will be based on a high-rise slab pour. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On the job you will handle: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing We offer £13 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
