What we are looking for: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • A good head for heights and steady balance • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate Your main tasks: • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
