Gang bricklayer • Rappahannock County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Rappahannock County, Virginia. You will be based at a renovation and extension job. The role involves: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks 2+ years on the tools preferred.
