Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors On a typical shift you will check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
