Tig welder wanted in Cumbria

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Cumbria, England. You will be based at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
