We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality checker in DeSoto County, Mississippi. You will work in an automotive parts factory. Day to day you will calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. You should have: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
