Tig welder wanted in Middlesex County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tig welder in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
