Fire and safety officer wanted in Stillwater County

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Stillwater County, Montana. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
