You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves record output and downtime on the production sheet; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation.
