Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Polk County, Oregon. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
