Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Franklin County, Iowa. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder.
