Abattoir worker wanted in Garrett County

Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Garrett County, Maryland. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Day-to-day duties: • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
