We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete placer in Kiri Kasama, Jigawa State. The job is at an infrastructure site. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Your main tasks: • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
