Immediate opening: we are hiring a joiner in New Madrid County, Missouri. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Day-to-day duties: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
