HSE officer — Caldwell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a HSE officer in Caldwell County, North Carolina. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
