Butcher — Newberry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a butcher in Newberry County, South Carolina. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Rotating shifts.
