Stainless steel welder — Wheeler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Wheeler County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
