Concrete labourer wanted in Adams County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Adams County, Mississippi. Day-to-day duties: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time with occasional weekends.
