GMAW welder wanted in Maui County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Maui County, Hawaii. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Your main tasks: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
