Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges Day-to-day duties: • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches 1+ years on the tools preferred.
