Marble fitter — Borough of Oldham

Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble fitter in Borough of Oldham, England. The job is on a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound You should have: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists 5+ years on the tools preferred.
