Join our team: gas installation technician (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Day to day you will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Driving licence for travel between sites • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
