Articulated lorry driver — Allegany County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Allegany County, Maryland. You will be based in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day to day you will plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid digital tachograph card At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
