Join our team: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Boone County, Illinois. The job is in a gas distribution network. On the job you will handle: • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves You should have: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Six days a week, one day off.
