Stainless steel welder wanted in Iosco County

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Iosco County, Michigan. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
