Production welder wanted in Yoakum County

Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Yoakum County, Texas. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. On a typical shift you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,750 per project, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
