Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Panola County, Texas. The job is in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. On the job you will handle: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure What we are looking for: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate Six days a week, one day off.
