Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Gokana, Rivers State. You will work on a commercial tower construction site. On the job you will handle: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Full-time, day shift.
