Urgent requirement: gas pipe fitter (South Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Sumter County, South Carolina. You will work at a boiler and appliance service centre. Your main tasks: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
