Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You will work at a halal meat counter. You should have: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Day to day you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; season and marinate meat on request; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
