Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Vigo County, Indiana. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules The role involves: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
