Garden maintenance worker • New Castle County, Delaware

Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in New Castle County, Delaware. The job is at a plant nursery. You will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience.
