Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Franklin County, Alabama. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. On a typical shift you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. What we are looking for: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience.
