Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Etinan, Akwa Ibom State. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings The role involves control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
