Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Scott County, Missouri. You will be based in a CNC machine shop. You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery You will set up and start the machine as per the job card; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
