Reinforcement steel fixer • Zapata County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Zapata County, Texas. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
