Immediate opening: uPVC window fabricator (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. Your main tasks: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
