Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jefferson County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Your main tasks: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
