Aluminium TIG welder — Douglas County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Douglas County, Missouri. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
