Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You will work in a tool room. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Load and index turning tools in the turret What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Rotating shifts.
