Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area 3+ years on the tools preferred.
