Occupational health and safety officer — Orleans County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Orleans County, Vermont. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot The role involves: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
