Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Day to day you will set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments.
