Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Emanuel County, Georgia. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 4+ years on the tools preferred. $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
