The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS).
