Container truck driver — Orange County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a container truck driver in Orange County, Vermont. You will work at a busy distribution depot. On a typical shift you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Current Driver CPC qualification card At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
